Sierra Ciciarelli is the Outreach Manager and Asst Field Manager of the Broward County Sea Turtle Conservation Program. Sierra has always had an affinity towards sea turtles since she was a little girl but made her dream a reality during her undergraduate studies. While obtaining her Bachelor of Science she spent the summer in Maunabo, Puerto Rico working as a sea turtle nesting biologist. She was lucky enough to work with leatherback and hawksbill sea turtles during their nesting season. After this she went on to obtain her Master of Professional Science in Marine Conservation at the University of Miami’s Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science. During her thesis work she worked as a Sea Turtle Specialist.
