DESCRIPTION:THURSDAY October 17  Member Luncheon Meeting\n 11:30 – 1:00 pm\nOctober’s meeting hosted by the Health & Wellness Committee \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHealth and Wellness Committee is hosting our  October membership meeting\, with a guest speaker from “The Broward Partnership for the Homeless”. \n\n\nFounded in 1997\, Broward Partnership for the Homeless is committed to reducing homelessness by promoting independence and self-worth through advocacy\, housing and comprehensive services. The Partnership has won best practices awards from the Florida Department of Children and Families and the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development. \nA “fall” themed luncheon will be served.   PURCHASE LUNCHEON TICKETS HERE \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFALL DRIVES: \nGently Used Bras for Broward Partnership for the Homeless \nand TBD Hurrican Helene outreach supplies \nalso see below: \nSept thru Nov – School Supplies Drive \nOur Education Committee is continuing with one of our favorite community service drives\, school supplies for both Walker Elementary and a Middle School (to be announced in November.) Please bring supplies to our member meetings SEPTEMBER 19 through NOVEMBER 21.  \nSchool Supplies List: \nElementary School-Aged Supplies: Backpacks\, 24 ct. Crayons\, 12 ct. Colored Pencils\, 8 ct.
