She also holds a Certificate in Nutrition Science from Stanford Medicine. Passionate about preventive health\, women’s wellness\, and empowering patients to live healthier\, longer lives\, she is a cancer survivor committed to proactive healthcare and community education. SUMMARY:Operation Homecoming
DESCRIPTION:  \nThe Woman’s Club is again urging members to “Welcome Home” our WWII\, Korean and Vietnam Veterans in Operation Honor Flight on Saturday\, September 7th at the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International airport.  While the Veterans are not scheduled to return home until approximately 8:00 p.m.\, it is advised that all participants arrive early (around 7:00 p.m.) to secure parking and annex a spot in the terminal for our group to gather.  Community Outreach Chair Sally Alshouse will be out of town that date\, but has attended this moving and heartwarming event on multiple occasions.  If we have confirmation of enough attendees\, Annette Ross will arrange a van to transport our group from the Clubhouse to the airport and then a scheduled return trip.  Please feel free to reach out to Sally Alshouse sawcr@aol.com with any questions.
