Our August meeting is featuring a “Back to School Supply Drive” fundraiser for the much needed supplies to help kids succeed in school.  Guest speaker is Daphne Nikolopoulos, aka D.J. Niko, award winning author of historical thrillers and fiction.  Her presentation “Ethiopia: Land of Culture, History, Spirituality” is about the research she did for her 2012 debut novel The Tenth Saint..  Please refer to eNotice about suggestions for “Turn Back Time” potluck food rotation (A-J entrees and K-Z appetizers/sides), which includes school lunch favorites such as Sloppy Joe’s and Tater Tots.
