MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Fort Lauderdale Woman’s Club (FLWC) is to engage the women of Fort Lauderdale as volunteers to make a recognizable difference in civic, educational, cultural and humanitarian needs in our community and beyond.

FLWC promotes charitable and educational activities through volunteerism. We award an educational scholarship annually, coordinate activities with fellow Woman’s Clubs and other local groups, support local, national, and international charities through money, time and/or goods. The Club is a [501(c)(3)] not for profit with Federal Tax ID number 59-0673290.

We have programs on health & wellness, civics & outreach, education & libraries, arts & culture, and the environment. We encourage participation and leadership of women of all ages.

We have fun!  We invite you to attend one of our monthly club meetings, which is held the 3rd Thursday of every month (except June and July) from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at our historic clubhouse located at 20 South Andrews Avenue in downtown Fort Lauderdale.
