Our October meeting is featuring CANINE FOR COMPANIONS FOR INDEPENDENCE (CCI), which is the GFWC Florida President’s Project.  CCI is a nonprofit organization which breeds, raises and trains service dogs, hearing dogs, facility dogs and skilled companions for people with disabilities.  Imagine not being able to open a door. Answer the phone. Hear a fire alarm. Or even pick up a pencil. These are the kind of challenges many people with disabilities face daily.
