Sunday, July 16 (NEW DATE*) – PawSUP & Surf Competition to benefit Canine Companions for Independence at Fort Lauderdale Dog Beach, which is located on A1A, north of Sunrise Blvd, near beach entrance to Birch State Park.

Plan to have a fun-filled day paddling with your dog and watch your surfur hit the waves and hang 20 to benefit CCI.  No experience is necessary.  Light food for contestants and raffle prizes for winners!  Please bring your beach umbrella towels, life jacket (for dog) and water for you and your pooch. Paddle and Surfboards provided by BC Surf & Sport and Hang Loos.

If you are interesting in helping with this event, CCI needs a couple of people to work the Registration Table, assist with handling the Raffle Prizes, as well as breaking down and packing up after the event.
