Thank you to Leslie Wells Rambin for creating an evening of elegance at the “Calling All Angels” fundraising event to benefit the Fort Lauderdale Woman’s Club.

First off the word graciousness comes to mind to describe this dinner. Leslie decorated her home and waterside patio with beautiful table settings including candles and angels placed all around. More than 35 guests heard Leslie’s “angel call” and enjoyed her gorgeous passed appetizers and sumptuous meal of filet mignon, salmon and side dishes. She prepared it all with such ease and served it with such style.

The silent auction organized by Rebecca Solomon provided extra delight to the evening with generous bidders who won jewelry, handbags, dining out/hair & nail/massage gift certificates, bottles of wine, a hotel stay and much more! At the end of the evening each guest went home with an angel wing necklace as a gift in return for their support.

We cannot put into words how much we appreciate Leslie for sharing her beautiful home and generosity to FLWC. Additionally we want to thank Leslie’s “angels” who helped do the cooking and serving; to Carol Call, Donna Richardson and David Solomon for donating the wine; to the donors for providing the items for the silent auction table (see list donor list below); and the many members from FLWC for volunteering to help the dinner run smoothly. We are grateful to everyone for making this evening a night to remember!
