FLWC has been invited again to help pour beer for TIPS as a FUNDRAISER for the club! This is usually one of our most lucrative fundraisers of the year for us!

Per Annette:
The beer truck is one of two “donated” by Budwieser to the city for the City’s St. Pat’s parade.  We have one and Riverwalk the other.  JoAnn got us the best position of the two!  Whatever beer is on the truck this year is what we are selling for them. We get no percentage of the beer sales from the truck. We keep ONLY THE TIPS we generate from those sales so it is very important we have volunteers who know how to sell, sell, sell!

To man the tent we need 2 hr shifts of: tap people, pour people, mixed drink people, sales people, stock people and a money changer. Donna Lee, Ann Sparks and myself will be there for the duration and my husband Bob will work the taps.  We will need others who can operate a tap. It is an art!

Parking. The city is still trying to figure out parking for the volunteers.  Presently their plan is is to have volunteers park at Galleria and shuttle them to the event site OR have volunteers park on the top deck of the parking garage at the base of the Las Olas Bridge. Our option is to park at my (Annette’s) house at 2543 Lucille Drive and carpool/golf cart over.

Please contact Annette at 954-401-2007 to schedule a shift and get directions to her home for parking. This will be a wild and fun event ON THE BEACH! (for more info about the event, click on image/link below)
