Plan to spend an evening in beautiful Stranahan Botanical Garden listening to the soulful sounds of saxophonist, Michael Kennedy. The $15 admission includes a free glass of wine. Wine, hors d’oeuvres and homemade desserts will also be offered. See how this once run down city park has been transformed into a urban oasis featuring 500 varieties of plants including tropicals, bromeliads, succulents, roses and a Cypress Hammock.
Guests are invited to tour the garden and doors will be open to the Fort Lauderdale Woman’s Club historic 1917 clubhouse. Table and chairs will be set up on lawn in front of gazebo, bathrooms available for use in clubhouse, and free or garage parking is nearby.
Proceeds from event support the preservation of the oldest civic organization in Broward County and holder of the last remaining historic buildings in downtown Fort Lauderdale.
